I feel this is a great piece, but the piccolo part is very brief through this piece and doesn’t play half the time the flute does. Not a big complaint, but my student wrote “nap time” for Almost measures of rest.
I feel the high melody could have A good piece for intermeditate players, but if anyone has a middle schooler or level 3 player that can play that oboe solo well, let me know, ha ha.
